Four Corners Unit - This Is How It Should Be Done
A move was made (and quickly quashed) to create a new unit in the four corners area aptly called the Four Corners Unit. CLICK HERE to read about it. The Four Corners Unit would meet the needs of busy working people who do not have the same time to caravan and rally as easily as other folks.

This unit would be using internet technology as a means of communicating and coordinating with its members.  

Shame that the leadership of Region 11 deemed it not a viable entity and elected to shut it down without through review.

Our hats off to the FCU and hope the organizers will push this concept through. Visionary points go out because the unit would utalize technology based infrastructure to keep it's membership in the loop.  Hats back on to Region 11 leadership for suggesting that members stay in contact only by meeting face to face.

As they describe themselves - this unit is intended to be a bit different from the "Traditional" unit in that primary emphasis will be on camping amid the natural beauty of our country and, if given the alternative between better scenery or hookups, will chose the scenery. Business meetings will not be planned during camp outs  so they will not interfere with having fun. More lavish meals will be enjoyed  because you never know if it will be your last. Real china, tablecloths,  wine, candles and flowers will  always be appreciated by some and sometimes appreciated by all.

The ceremonies and formalities of the WBCCI may be fully enjoyed by those who choose to attend Regional and International Rallies.  Unit rallies, however, will be relaxing and informal. Some "kid friendly" rallies will be included along with rallies for working families.
