It is hard to keep a good rumor down. But that is what will happen here. While we would not be surprised at another attempt at a name change we do think that so many other things could be tried BEFORE a new name change. We have tried to verify this new rumor but it seems that we can not find a verifiable source who will attest that the name change is going to be presented again. Our only link to this runor is one Hunter Hampton who is a member of the WDCU Yahoo groups. In an email exchange that was contentious at best Hunter refused to disclose her sources. She did indicate that it was a Delegate. In fact she was quite upset at my prompting for more information and the fact that without disclosing a verifiable sourse, her information is nothing more than hear-say. She did suggest that This author educate himself on this issue (and that she suspected that I don't have many friends and that "I get over myself" - I am not sure what that means). Hunter also stated that the "administrator" didn't have a clue as to what he was talking about. I beg to differ with you - we are the name change experts. We know all to well which name was proposed, amended and voted down at the delegates meeting. In fact we have even recorded the whole proceedings of that meeting in Salem and have it available for all to hear. The recordings can be HEARD HERE. It is funny that Hunter exclaimed to me " You stated on the website that the name I said was the same name that had already been voted down. Again you need to educate yourself. The name that was voted down was very different. This is a brand new name being suggested. Last time I checked, it was the very name she suggests which was voted down.
