Intentional or Accidental?
« on: August 24, 2007, 08:25:01 PM »

We have conflicting reports on the wbcci.org/forum disaster.  One side says the IBT wanted all controversial posts OFF the club forum.  The other side says the IBT knew nothing of the issue that an individual all of a sudden decided it was time to clean-up the posts.  The REAL deal?  Who knows...

We've recovered better than 40 of the deleted threads from the WBCCI.org/forums.  Most are 100% in tact -- others are merely partial threads.

The word is that the WBCCI has asked the forums provider to recover as many posts as possible.  We'll see what happens.  There's still some formatting to be done on all of the other threads we have so we're going to hold off on putting them up for the next week until we see if the WBCCI can pull this recovery off.  If not we'll just be forced to maintain a bit of WBCCI history right here at good 'ol SaveWally.

Anyone at all have any doubt as to which side was telling the whole truth back when?   Times haven't changed much.  The picture just gets clearer, doesn't it? But Pleasantville just doesn't seem to be visceral enough to entertain the masses and win the sweeps.  ;) y a w n  Some times an opposing viewpoint adds interest. :-* ;D

Under the auspices of the Code of Ethics and thanks to the uniting of like minded individuals there can be harmony within the club.  You do have to hand it to leadership, while the membership may take time to craft amendments for change or make proposals or try to vote in their choice of candidate, leadership has always shown us just how easy it can be, they just do it!   ;)

Attitude Adjustment...

"The teacher's desk is lined with apples, for this is a ''Father Knows Best'' clone with a vengeance...

...One thing we did know eventually: those apples had worms. And Gary Ross's ingenious fantasy ''Pleasantville'' is about finding them."
