Hi  Pahaska, it was the Waco regional I believe, I parked in the back of a high school along a fence.I will not discuss what happen to Pee Wee .Ask PeeWee.IT has to do with Censorship, I protested on the forum, and they removed  my thread.By the way I payed that  forum money so As a dues paying member ,I had a right to express my displeasure, they said I did not.Airstream forums is a
deadzone for free speech.

firedog, tell me about your experience in Waco.  You stated that you left before the rally started, so something must have happened in the bull pen.  I personally walked the bull pen a couple times a day and talked with members who were being held there.  Hopefully, your bad experience won't happen again.  I can't take the bad experience away, but I can work to ensure that it doesn't happen again.

Ken,

I know you are registered on the WBCCI forum, how about an introductory post in my leadership participation thread: http://forum.wbcci.org/wbcci-leadership-management/87-leadership-participation.html  and addressing some of the member questions.

I had thought it was a common issue that happened in the thread to both you and Pee Wee but not having seen the thread I guess I was mistaken.  I have heard several references to it but did not see it.  I would only ask PeeWee should he mention it here and not intrude to ask him since he has expressed a desire to take a break from the forums.  Maybe someone might pm me with what they read on the public forum before it was removed. I am still an active member of Air Forums and wonder what the censorship is rather than what Dale's personal business is. Thanks.

Ken Sands (Sandman) is our region 9 2VP.  He rescued the Texas Hill Country Unit from oblivion and I can hardly wait for his term as Region President.  Ken has stood up and said the right things at every IBT meeting that I have listened to.

I arrived at Waco as part of a caravan.  There was some confusion when we arrived, but we were parked after having our lunch in the bull pen.  I lucked out in getting a full hookup back-in by the fence.

Much of the confusion I encountered had to do with the location and time of meetings after we were there.

Sandman, as a new member in Wbcci 4 years now. This club has left a bad taste in my mouth.I do not   think I will be around long enough to see the changes that are needed in the club heir achy to make me pay 75 dollars membership to this club .As for my experience at the Waco regional Rally. I would rather forget it.I will tell you this though, on my return trip in March ,I will not attend any rallies in Texas. tell me about your experience in Waco.

Ken,

Send a PM to one of the moderators and give them your name and WBCCI number, they will then give you access to the members only area.

I will tell you this though, on my return trip in March ,I will not attend any rallies in Texas.

We have the Texas Vintage Rally in Montgomery February 10-14.  I wish you would give us a try.  We are open to all Airstreamers, regardless  of WBCCI membership.  Last year, we had over 100 rigs there with over 40 of them vintage.  Details at http://thlu.org  Pot luck, 2 catered dinners, flea market, many seminars, vintage open house at one of the best parks you can ask for.

I will personally guarantee that you will be welcomed at our rally as we do every Airstreamer.  There is NO WBCCI business conducted at this rally.

Thanks for the invite,I would really consider, it sounds great.  I am sut up here until march 7th, darn I love a good Texas Smoke .The best streak I ever had was in Texas, friends from Ntac took me to a Texas steak house way east of Hillsboro, some good eating in that place.
