This one is no surprise -- it's just amazing there wasn't a single hold-out FOR the motion.  ALL WDCU votes are AGAINST this motion.  Not only that the WDCU may have seen as much as 20% growth just over this issue alone.  MALs have signed up to get their votes.  Non-members have signed up just to join and have a say.

What's that you say?  WDCU members 'get it'?  Oh YES they DO!

With more than 4000 votes still unaccounted for, we're just ~300 votes short of killing this Minority Special Interest IBT SOB Motion as the current tallies are running 70% to 30% -- AGAINST!

Can you smell the abuse of power?  The smoked filled plotting and scheming AGAINST the BACKBONE of this club?  That would be the 87% Travel Trailer owners and likely 87% Motor Home owner members that know EXACTLY what this club is!  If only the Silent Majority could have found its vote!!

Just when you thought AOAI could be the biggest snafu this club could ever see -- our IBT -- in a repeat performance bring you IBT SOBS.  When will they learn?  WHEN WILL THEY LEARN?!

Just a quick FYI. We in the WDCU would like to thank all those who joined us this year, if in the end to do nothing more than cast a vote, that was fine with us. Glad to have you. Also, thanks to the "SaveWally" team for helping us. On June 1, 2007 when WBCCI HQ was contacted, we thought our total number was "136". After reviewing the number with HQ, we found some members had left the WDCU to join the "FCU". We had concern about those members being able to vote with the "FCU". We were told by HQ, the FCU members would be allowed to vote through the "FCU" even though the are a new unit. I hope this is correct. Does anyone know about the voting of the FCU? We were told they can, I hope they do.

Thanks, Paul, from one of the new members of WDCU who came over from another unit to be reenfranchised, it feels great to have our opinion and vote appreciated!

Thanks for keeping up on the new FCU members too.  We'll all be watching and supporting that new unit to make sure their votes count too.

I am one of the members who is transfering out of your great unit to the 4CU. I thought we could vote with the WDCU because provisional unit members do not get a vote. That information is clearly published in the club Constitution or Bylaws. Because of that we have made no arangement for a vote or delegate selection. Could you let me know who told you that we would have a vote?

Our membership person Star Grover talked to "Jodi Morris" who is head of membership at HQ. Let us know what you find out.

I do not believe that a provisional unit get a vote. But that doesn't mean a provisional unit can't voice an opinion one way or another (hint, hint).

I just went through both the constitution and the bylaws and it looks to me that any and all members operating under a provisional charter have NO voting rights except within that provisional charter by itself.

You had full voting rights as a WDCU member but gave them up once you transfered your membership to a provisional unit.  If the 4CU is granted permanent status on July 4th then you'll be able to vote.  Unfortunately the Delegates Meeting is on June 30th leaving you folks on the outside looking in (just like MALs)...

There is an email into Jodi at HQ about the matter. There's a chance she misspoke, we misunderstood, etc...
As soon as we hear something, we will let you know. Let's hope for the best. I do remember reading on the forums were some members knew by leaving the WDCU they would be giving up their vote. Time will tell.

Paul's information was right on. Here is how it will work.
The IBT meets a few days before the delegate meeting. If the unit is granted a full charter, the unit will be allowed a delegate. I am currently rushing to get out a ballot to our members and to also find a delegate.

Paul, thanks for helping out with this......
