You don't have to be a mind reader to decipher this one:

"Our general meeting had much discussion on the motorhome issue affecting WBCCI. The Airstream Company has stopped making motorhomes. Those with motorhomes (about 900 out of 6,000 total members) are a substantial and worthy group of long time members. As it becomes necessary to replace their units they would no longer be able to belong to WBCCI under the current constitution. The national President and Region 12 President recommend allowing specially designated Four Winds Motorhomes manufactured by Thor Industry be accepted as an alternate to Airstream-manufactured units. A vote will be taken at the International Rally in Perry, GA in July."

When a Unit President exaggerates the number of motorhomes by ~5% (860 vs 900) and then understates the total number of members by 13% (6890 vs 6000) it's pretty easy to guess which way he leans.  Also the lack of mention of alternative solutions or the RIGHT solution is a pretty good indicator.

Is it possible this poor unit is subjected to 100% IBT Propaganda?  You know it is (possible)!

Could I be wrong about Larry?  Sure I could.  Am I wrong?  Numbers usually don't LIE -- Stay tuned...   ;)

Just making the rounds and re-checking this little bugger.  You've got to take a look at this ballot that was sent out. It's on page 4 and is a real eye opener.  It appears that Larry is going out on a limb here coming up with all veins of the bizarre and unfortunate.  At the same time he's looking for a vote of confidence that he can vote as he sees fit.  I'm telling you this is from the land of the bizzare.

Larry -- where is the option of:

Should we just vote to kill this amendment and not readdress it until the IBT conducts a full membership survey presenting some facts as to why anything should be done?

There's the one you're missing -- there's the option that should rise to the top.  Kill this motion -- it's baseless and not defendable.  THEN form a 5 person, 4 TT owners and 1 MoHo owner committee, chaired by a TT owner member, and go out and have a real professional survey composed, mailed, and tallied by a University statistics department.  THEY should be able to present a real case for action or not!

They should be able to hone in on the sensible solution -- that one that outright escapes the mere thoughts of the IBT...
