The May issue has a special section on the 75 years of Airstream. Three pages are devoted to Wally's 36 years of leadership of the company. Very little is said about the 1967 to 1980 ownership by Beatrice Foods. The 75 year time line documents the product introductions including the 1980 to present( 26 years) ownership by Thor. Four pages are devoted to Wally's worldwide caravaning. Three pages cover what Airstream is up to now. (no mention of the dropping of the A class motorhomes.) This is a worthwhile read and is available at some newstands for $3.99. It shows that, some people think Wally was a signifigant figure in the development of the RV industry and way of life and it is worth saving his legacy.
