A legal defense fund has been started over at Air forums see http://www.airforums.com/forums/f286/save-leo-and-wbcci-defense-fund-61445.html

It was setup to gauge interest in the quest to take the clubs rules and have them interpreted by the Courts.

If the Court finds that they are not following their own bylaws are conspiring to oust people and failing their fiduciary duties to manage the club and its finances we can change the club from a dying membership to a growing one.

What are you folks thinking about this idea?

I think it's time that the officers of the WBCCI discovered that they have responsibilities to the . . . shudder. . . mere members.  If they need a judge to explain that to them, well then, go for it.

I think its a logical progression given the irresponsible actions of the WBCCI top leadership.  Working from within and dotting all the "i"s and crossing all the "t"s as laid out by the constitution and bylaws and Roberts Rules to guide officials merely cause them to raise the bar every time the members tried to jump "that high" and into the hoops required.  Not unlike those fairy tales of the fair lady's hand promised in marriage by the King  to the first suitor who could defeat the dragon, however as the story unfolds both in the fairy tales of old and current WBCCI the King actually tries to sabatoge the suitor's efforts by adding more and more burden upon him.

Yes I think its high time for the redress of the abuse of power.
