side bars and internet

After reading the latest newsletter I do not understand the barriors that the last IBT meeting would have to negate an internet or teleconference meeting.  Can someone extrapolate?  Thank you.

Hey Carol -- hope you don't mind (and I'm sure you'll let me know if you really do!  :'( ) but I've deleted that link to the newsletter.  You need to log in there to get that newsletter and I don't think any member should have to sign up there to receive club communications.  Not the email directory, not the IP's Monthly news -- ZERO...

There's no point sending anyone into a forum where they'll be treated like a child, their posts moved, removed, and warned.  Their private messages to other members spied on, and ANY member having the potential of being blocked from the site via the Miserable Users Hack installed there should that 3rd party owner feel like punishing someone without their knowledge.  Screw 'em...

The Prez Feb News is attached to this message.

The most worthwhile news the IP has had for us since July, quite the warm-up period....

Opening para., "With courtesy and respect" tells me that leadership is starting to fracture.  That's a good thing as our current course will certainly lead to the club's demise.  Now we just need to see those trying to fix things become the majority, instead of the majority being content to see this whole thing crash.  i.e., keep taking reimbursements without performing and its only a matter of time...

Streaming likely turned out its biggest audience.  Can't be sure, but some strong numbers in this round -- concerned members one and all.  Notice they didn't need to attend a soiree to show their concern...

"Next, Norma and I lived in Jackson Center for over two months where we worked with Cindy Reed and the WBCCI headquarters staff..."

WOW -- I'm amazed -- my hats off to both Tom and Norma.  That's the kind of commitment you should expect from a couple at the helm.  I'm wholly impressed and there aren't likely enough good things I can say about this effort.  No matter what anyone might think about leadership, this is an extraordinary effort on Tom and Norma's part and I don't know how many others would take that job so seriously.  We should all thank them both, they have mine...

Block Parties at International -- I think this gets back to the old days, where there were big outdoor socials.  Tom had mentioned heading in this direction 2 years ago -- glad to see its coming to fruition.

Bottom line, somebody, a couple, putting a solid two months into this club, working from HQs for scratch?  You just can't say enough good things about that.  Regardless of what may result, you just can't disregard that kind of  effort.  Kudos to them both!
