Dear WBCCI Members,
On January 20th our Mid-Winter IBT Seminar takes place in Rayne, LA and will be simulcast so that you can listen in. On January 23rd, our IBT Meeting will take place and will also be simulcast. This year 26 motions are being presented and discussed. The first item on the agenda is the $103,000.00 financial loss of our 2009 Madison International Rally. Another important item on the Agenda is a proposed $20 dues increase, increasing dues from $55 a year, to $75 a year (that does not include your Unit dues).
Your leadership decided to US Mail these motions to Region Presidents instead of scanning them and making them available to the entire membership.
Working with a small group of WBCCI member friends, we've scanned each and every motion and placed them online for your review. We've also created an online survey, the results of which will be emailed to the entire IBT on January 19th. What they'll find is a summary report based on your participation, along with a link to the entire report. If you wish, by checking the very last check box in the survey, you will also be on distrubition for that email.
The link below is for that online survey. Links to each and every motion are in the survey itself. To make sure that these motions are fair and balanced, we're giving you an opposing view. You'll find the PRO statements within the rationale for each motion. You'll find the CON statements, or at least an alternative view, posted in the survey itself. Please read both before you form any opinion and vote.

This type of 2-way communication, balanced to give you both sides of any issue, is something we can look forward to from this day forward - it will happen.
The survey is self-explanatory except for one mention. If the motion you read is not satisfactory as written, if you wish that more or less be done than what is offered, then vote against the item and be specific in your comments box. All comments will be passed on as written, but in the summary report, if a clear trend can be detected, then a percentage summary will also be shown.
Please don't forget -- pass this on to your unit, to your friends -- if you'd like to be on the distribution of the final report, check off that last box in the survey.
