What's the best way for us all to stay in touch in Madison?  Why Twitter of course!

If you'll be there in Madison with your cell phone, or at home with your computer -- you can be a part of the group!

If you have a cell phone, almost any cell phone that is less than 2 years old, you need to contact your cell phone carrier and ask them to add unlimited text/internet access for ONE MONTH (okay, two months if you'll be at the rally after July 1st).  Sign up for Twitter at http://twitter.com, and follow 65GT:

You should then select and follow everyone that I'm following (maybe even if you don't know who they are), because we're all WBCCI feet on the street.  Together we'll know what's going on, what's good, what's great, what's not so great, and best of all we'll be linked.  I'll do my best to update my location, meetings, lunches, dinners, happy hours etc..  I'll even see if we can give Wally Byam Control a run for their money, and broadcast updates whenever I can get them (you can do it too!).

Together, in lieu of not so interesting happenings overall, we'll inform each other of maybe where we should all be going (at the same time, or individually)...

Don't let these two special applications stop you.  The basics of Twitter are SMS text messages, and you don't need an application for that -- SMS is built into nearly every phone these days, and you can send and receive messages all day long.

REMEMBER THOUGH -- if you don't turn on unlimited sms messages / internet for the month with your cell phone carrier, your cell phone bill will be astronomical.  Having your carrier turn on these services for just ONE MONTH shouldn't cost you more than $20 for the month, and you turn it off again just as soon as you're done with it.  YES these services run by the month, not by a start and stop 30 days...

Now, if you're at home and you just want to follow along, it's easy.  Join twitter for free and follow me, and everyone I'm following, and you'll get WBCCI updates on the fly -- all rally, and pre-rally long...

I'm doing my best to follow everyone that follows me.  It will be 100% WBCCI.  We don't know who and how many will actually be onsite participating via Twitter, so you're best off looking at everyone that I'm following, and follow them yourself.  I'll be attempting to capture and transmit the best of Wally Byam Control, so that should be up at least 1st thing am, and with any luck a mid-day report.

Heck, WBC turned a cold shoulder on me just as soon as I ran from the floor in Perry, but as long as I can find somebody with a CB to listen to here and there, we can even bring WBC into the 21st Century...  

Get your cell phone tuned up if you're going, and your browser pointed towards Twitter if you're doing Madison from your living room!    We're going live, in about 7 more days...  Yee haw!
