I wanted to ask what happens if there are so many fewer participants for the International than planned upon? With expectations of 1200 and registrations at 500 plus, and volunteers...anyone know how many volunteers expected? Participants might be able to enjoy personal concierge,

With partipants less than projected, will WBCCI costs be incurred for the remaining number of commitment? I am thinking about the guaranteed amount and wondering if WBCCI will still need to pay for 1200 to the fairgrounds or in other expenses. Does anyone know how that would play out?
If 500 members have paid out of pocket and 600-700 places remain paid for but unused could the rally fee be recalculated downward to offer a reduced rate to all and increase participation?
I guess what I am driving at is, if it is in fact going to cost the club from savings for this rally, then wouldn't it be better PR and use of that money to have members enjoying that expenditure than merely sitting empty? Either way the club takes a hit. Could something positive be done out of the expense?
