A Correction
« on: December 28, 2008, 07:36:01 PM »

I just received this from Jim Haddaway.  The home in question was not my home; I received the original information from a friend that is an active unit officer and Region Committee person.

During my visit to your home today you said that you did not know if you would be attending the IBT Mid-winter meeting and wondered what was on the agenda. I casually replied that the discussion of the 20/20 committee recommendations would be very interesting as well as a motion by the International Treasurer to raise the dues $15.00. THAT IS ALL I SAID! In no way did I infer that the raise was a forgone conclusion. In fact, I sincerely doubt that the Board would approve it.

I apologize for any misunderstandings.  I can understand the Int Treasurer making the motion; after all, that is his job.  I'm glad Jim Haddaway has the opinion that the motion would not pass.

Thanks John for the correction.  I must say that is somewhat of a relief and now I anxiously await to hear of the IBT meeting results with a somewhat guarded but hopeful anticipation.

...and I'm just as happy to see that Jim is still lurking here.  ;)  Then again, he's missing everything in Wally's Inside Track too, isn't he?  You've got to log in Jim -- we won't bite -- it will be good to know you're seeing everything that's going on here, behind those curtains, don't you know...  Unlike the wbcci.org/forum, we do have a members only section here...  The only cost of course, is that you log in instead of lurking -- it's open to one and all...

Regardless of what Jim might think of us, I think the majority here believe that Jim is truly one of the good guys (I've got the right Jim, don't I?  ;) ).  Besides, I think Jim is one of the only guys in the club with a bright yellow jacket!  ;)  It makes it easier to find Jim most days...  ;)

Jim continues to work very hard for the club.  First, the Unit Planning (and Merit Award) Guide, then the Region Planning (and Merit Award) Guide.  Hey Jim -- maybe you could get us an EC7 Planning (and Merit Award) Guide.  I think that's exactly what this club needs!!  ;D
