Hello All,

I joined WBBCI about 7 years ago as an “AT LARGE” member and later joined the North Texas Unit. The purpose for joining WBBCI was to get the newsletter, in hopes to learn about my then new (to me) Airstream and was this let-down. I soon realized this magazine (Blue Beret) was generally the same thing month after month. Then I found the AIR-Forums and began learning a lot. My first rally was a Forums rally and we had so much fun. I went to my first Regional rally at Claremore Oklahoma. I didn’t enjoy this at first, but as I met different people, I soon found attendees under 50! Now I don’t have anything against older and active members and I’ve learned so much from the whole bunch, and from all ages. There is nothing that replaces the great experiences, patience and good humor! 
 
I first learned of the Four-Winds Motorhome issue last year, I though it was a ridiculous idea then, and oh how happy to hear about the defeated proposal at Perry, Georgia. Now the issue has been brought up again! I was so shocked that anyone would be so mean spirited and try to autocratically shove this in the back door.

Sorry for all the rant, Anyway, I look forward to meeting a lot of you at future events.

It looks like the backdoor project did not work or was never endorsed by the full IBT. We will send our unit delegate to the bozeman Rally with proper instructions just in case.

I'll be anxious to hear how it goes. I hope this will be the end of the "other brand acceptance" issue.

Isn't it amazing how just a few members of a ~200 or so contingent can cause so much trouble for a 53 year old Airstream Only club?  It's even worse when it's International Officers that are the culprits.

There ought to be a law.  Oh, silly me, there is a law -- it's called our Regular Member Requirements.  If they weren't trying to scuttle those, and were looking for a gift from the membership instead, (the Associate Member Classification) they might find some compassion.

Push violating our Regular Member requirements to the Delegates again and I think some counter-legislation will be necessary.  It has a far better chance of passing too!
